Newtown Window and Door Upgrade With Expanded Fron
This Newtown, PA home received a full window and door upgrade, including ten replacement windows and a new sliding patio door. The front window opening was expanded to accommodate a triple casement configuration. With permitted structural updates, a new header, and Low E glass, the project improved energy efficiency, natural light, and curb appeal.
Project Overview
The homeowner wanted to modernize their home’s appearance while improving energy efficiency and increasing natural light. The existing windows were smaller and outdated, limiting both aesthetics and performance. A key goal was enhancing the front elevation with a larger window opening.
Our team replaced ten windows and one sliding patio door and coordinated a township permit to safely enlarge the front window opening. The project required installing a new structural header, proper capping, and a custom triple casement window combination consisting of a casement, picture, and casement unit. All work was completed to meet local Newtown building requirements.
Results
The finished project delivered a brighter interior, improved ventilation, and a more balanced exterior appearance. The new triple casement front window became a standout feature, adding architectural interest and expanding the homeowner’s view. Sunrise v4500 Low E windows provide long term durability, better insulation, and reduced energy loss, helping the home stay comfortable through Pennsylvania’s seasonal weather changes.
